Built for people who'd rather be creating
DistroBay started with the same truth from maker after maker: you love what you create. You don't love losing your evenings to listings.
Make more. List less.
Join makers getting their photos, descriptions, uploads, and updates handled for them.
No spam. Just the future of easier selling for makers.
We kept hearing it from ceramic artists, candle makers, jewellers, and small store owners across Australia. The product is finished. The photos exist. The story is in their head. But getting it online means editing images, writing descriptions, uploading details, and repeating the whole job in every shop. That's where the hours go.
Sometimes the work gets pushed to another night. Sometimes a partner, friend, or one of the kids gets called in to help with photos and uploads. Sometimes beautiful products simply never make it online. Selling shouldn't demand that much from the people around the making.
So DistroBay takes the listing headache away. Add photos and a few details; a little AI magic makes the images shine, writes the listing in your voice, and prepares it for every shop and marketplace where your customers buy.
It is built in Australia, with the people we meet at markets, studios, side hustles, and small shops in mind. People who are not trying to become ecommerce experts. They are trying to make a living from work they care about.
Our dream is simple: create a product once, sell it everywhere, and never give up another precious slice of creative time to repetitive listing admin.
Founder
Ben Radcliffe
Ben founded DistroBay after hearing the same listing headache from makers at markets and in home studios: the product is done, the photos are on the phone, and then another evening disappears into uploads and rewrites.
He brings over 15 years in technology — including time as a systems engineer with Apple’s NSW Education team — and a customer-first habit of building tools that remove friction rather than add jargon. DistroBay is his answer for makers who want more time creating and less time on the computer.
Spend more time on the things you love…creating.
